Reno Deaton

Reno Deaton has served as Executive Director of the Greer Development Corporation since 2007.  The Greer Development Corporation is charged with recruiting new business and industry to the Greer Community, business retention, community marketing, and facilitating new product development.  Since its creation in 2002, the Greer Development Corporation has partnered with County and State economic development agencies to facilitate more than $1 billion in new capital investment and 10,000 new jobs in the Greer community.  From the Inland Port to big box retail to international manufacturing companies, the Greer Development Corporation has been proud to partner with organizations throughout the region and across the State to help to facilitate new wealth creating opportunities in the Greer community.

 Reno is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, a South Carolina Certified Economic Developer, and lives in Greer.
