Chief Technology Officer

At Q6 Cyber Jeff leads the engineering teams responsible for ingesting, enriching, processing, and exporting our data to clients and is responsible for all aspects of technology operations.  Jeff also leads our targeted collection efforts focusing on Cyber Threat Actors.  Jeff works with our clients to help them understand and contextualize the attacks they are seeing and how to understand the risk posed by different attacks and threat actors.  Jeff leads the Q6 Cyber victim notification program, conducting in coordination with multiple U.S. Government agencies.

 Jeff began his career with the United States Secret Service’s Cyber Intelligence Section, where he focused on attribution of sophisticated cybercrime targeting the U.S. financial infrastructure. Jeff subsequently joined the United States Marine Corps as a Signals Intelligence Officer, and led the collection, analysis, and delivery of critical intelligence products through two deployments. Jeff was then selected to serve as a Branch Chief at the National Security Agency (NSA), where he led a number of classified programs developing state-of-the-art cyber intelligence collection technologies. After leaving the intelligence community, Jeff worked at IBM leading the delivery of the Managed SIEM Monitoring offering across 3 global SOCs providing 24 x 7 x 365 defense of clients networks.
